Researchers from Professor Xiaoguang Lei’s group at Peking University participated in Symposium 244: XXVIII International Bile Acid Meeting — Bile Acids in Health and Disease 2026, held from July 3 to 4 in Vienna, Austria. The symposium brought leading experts together in the field and featured a wide range of topics, including bile acid transport and signaling, bile acid actions in immunity and metabolism, and emerging therapeutic strategies for fibroobliterative cholangiopathies. During the symposium, Professor Lei delivered a talk titled “Cholestasis Pruritus: Is MRGPRX4 the Answer?” Members of Lei Lab, including Dr. Yingjie Bai and Wenbo Zhao, presented their latest research progress during the poster sessions and engaged in in-depth academic exchanges with researchers from around the world.
