Yufen grew up in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi (江西景德镇) of Eastern China. She received her B.S. in pharmacy at Sichuan University. After being exposed to chemistry, she found her true passion and decided to learn more about dynamic covalent bonds and controlled polymerization. Outside the lab, she enjoys listening to music and reading books.
