Our research group focuses on the design and synthesis of next-generation functional semiconductors as well as their applications in energy conversion. The main research directions are outlined below:
• To analyze the interaction mechanism between high-energy radiation and semiconductors, clarify the radiation induced degradation of materials, and underpin the design principle of radiation-resistant semiconductor materials.
• To develop novel nuclear isotope batteries, improve their energy conversion efficiency, and establish technical pathways for next-generation long-duration micro-energy sources.
• To optimize the performance of radiation detectors and advance their practical deployment in scenarios such as medical diagnosis and industrial inspection, etc.
• To optimize semiconductor materials and devices tailored for aerospace radiation environments, developing high-performance aerospace photovoltaic systems.
