Welcome to LI Group at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University!
Our research focuses on the design and synthesis of next-generation functional semiconductors for efficient and durable energy conversion and radiation-related applications. Our group name, ANEC, stands for Advanced Nuclear Energy Conversion. By integrating materials chemistry, semiconductor physics, radiation science, and device engineering, we aim to uncover the fundamental interactions between high-energy radiation and semiconductors while developing high-performance energy conversion and radiation-enabled technologies.
Our research incorporates various aspects of inorganic/organic chemistry, radiochemistry, and materials science. Students will have the opportunity to engage with advanced synthetic techniques and state-of-the-art characterization instruments. We are always looking for motivated graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are passionate about interdisciplinary research and innovation. Talented undergraduate students are also welcome and are highly encouraged to join our group, even as freshmen or sophomores.
